Hello all! My name is Layal Bou Harfouch and I currently serve as the President of Omniwomyn. I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Central Michigan University and hold a Masters of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. I currently work as a Drug Policy Analyst for the Reason Foundation. I was inspired to form Omniwomyn because of the significant lack of support in all facets given to minority women looking to pursue higher education. This organization not only provide resources for success, but also addresses the critical concern of empowerment. Not enough attention is given to that in todays society. As for the programming, I am looking forward to connecting with the women of the next generation through our mentorship program and to help prepare them for internship placements!
